ZoomIt Cheat Sheet

Download and Installation

  • Download ZoomIt from the official Microsoft Sysinternals website: ZoomIt Download

Basic Usage

  • Zoom In/Out:
    • Ctrl + 1 – Enter zoom mode.
    • Scroll up to zoom in and scroll down to zoom out.
  • Draw on Screen:
    • Ctrl + 2 – Enter draw mode.
    • Left-click and drag to draw on the screen.
  • LiveZoom:
    • Ctrl + 3 – Enter LiveZoom mode.
    • Hold down the left mouse button to zoom in; release to zoom out.
  • Break Timer:
    • Ctrl + 4 – Enter break timer mode.
    • Use the arrow keys to adjust the timer duration.

Additional Features

  • TypeIt:
    • Ctrl + 5 – Enter TypeIt mode.
    • Type text on the screen.
  • Spotlight:
    • Ctrl + 6 – Enter Spotlight mode.
    • Use the mouse to spotlight specific areas.
  • Hide/Show ZoomIt:
    • Ctrl + 0 – Hide or show ZoomIt toolbar.
  • Timer Countdown:
    • Ctrl + T – Start a countdown timer.

Customization

  • Configuration:
    • Right-click the ZoomIt tray icon and choose “Options” to customize settings.
  • Draw Options:
    • Adjust colors, line thickness, and other draw settings.

Exit ZoomIt

  • Exit ZoomIt:
    • Esc – Exit ZoomIt.
